Sai che in Cina non vedono di buon’occhio Google e i suoi servizi? Troppo “americani” per il regime governativo cinese! Ed è qui che entra in gioco Baidu: si tratta di un’azienda che nasce nel 2000, è una delle più grandi del mondo ed è praticamente la Google cinese!
Baidu offre infatti un motore di ricerca, in assoluto più usato in Cina, configurato per offrire risultati che rispettino le censure imposte dal regime governativo, oltre che un gran numero di servizi web, un’enciclopedia online in stile Wikipedia (che però può essere modificata soltanto dagli iscritti), un servizio di TV on-demand ed un circuito pubblicitario. Sembra inoltre che Baidu voglia anche entrare nel mondo delle automobili a guida autonoma!
Insomma, Baidu è senza ombra di dubbio un vero e proprio colosso!
