Cosa significa Twitch?
Twitch.tv è una piattaforma di streaming molto simile a YouTube ma incentrata sui videogiochi. In particolare Twitch è famoso per le sue dirette video: uno o più giocatori giocano e registrano tutto tramite screencast, anche in diretta con schermo . Gli altri utenti possono assistere come dei veri e propri spettatori, commentando in diretta o fornendo suggerimenti sulla strategia da seguire.
Puoi vedere Twitch quindi come una sorta di “palcoscenico interattivo” dove i videogiocatori giocano e una schiera di utenti vedono tutto ciò che fanno. Twitch ha avuto una grandissima diffusione tra i giovanissimi, anche grazie a giochi come Pokémon (dove era possibile addirittura giocare tutti insieme sfruttando la chat in comune) e altri giochi come sparatutto e strategia.
